The Adama Traore story is actually a little bit farcical, and yes, Rangers are working heavily on bringing the Ferencvaros winger to Ibrox, but the misinformation that is surrounding the lad is the classic example is wrong information in the first place being twisted in itself.
The biggest issue?
There’s (sadly) not Only One Adama Traore.
Let’s go through some/all the Adama Traores and see if we can find ours:
Adama Traore:
Ex-Wolves, Spanish winger, 28, once played for Barca and was a well-known heavyweight in the Premier League. Market value at one point was £40M. He is NOT the Traore we’re in for. Has had major injury issues and ours is being mislabelled a crock because of this.
Adama Traore:
Ex-Lille, currently at Hull, funnily enough, he’s also 28. He’s a midfielder and he used to ply his trade in Monaco. He’s Malian, like ours.
Adama Traore:
Ex-Basel, this 34-year-old Adama Traore, a left back (is he any good) hails from the Ivory Coast. Currently doing his thing in the A-League with Melbourne.
Adama Traore:
Ahhhh HERE he is! Adama Traore of Ferencvaros, Malian, 28 (again) but this time a winger and a rather good one. A champions with the Hungarians, he’s got a great record in the Champions League. This is our Adama. No injury history. Of all the Adama Traores out there, this is the best one of the lot.
So sadly there’s not only one Adama Traore but the one we’re (seemingly) getting ain’t half bad.
