Well it’s safe to say Rangers’ summer window is officially the worst in the club’s history, and Ibrox Noise warned against it from the moment Kieran Dowell was linked then announced as the first summer addition.

A mediocre Norwich midfielder, this guy had nothing in his CV to suggest he was even good enough for Hearts never mind our squad depth, and sadly, it only got worse after that.

Random after weird after random signing came in, no work got done on defence, and in the end the only summer addition to add value to our squad was Jack Butland, with Leon Balogun dumped to the bench.

Michael Beale’s work in the summer window was borderline criminal. Releasing good players capable of doing a job for Rangers, particularly Scotty and Colak, and replacing them with absolute rubbish that no one had heard of.

Sterling, Dowell, Lammers, Dessers, Danilo, Sima – that’s a lot of guff, and Cifuentes isn’t exactly thriving either.

The only success was indeed Butland and Balogun, and that’s two over-30s who came for free.

We simply cannot believe the window this summer – £16M absolutely wasted on rubbish, in the image of a truly pitiful manager, taking us back to the PLG days when the Frenchman did nothing but sign mince, and turned us into a fourth-place team.

No, Rangers’ squad is now infinitely worse than it was before Beale’s ‘grand revolution’ – he utterly ****ed up and he absolutely knows it.

Yes, it needed some refreshing, and some new talent, but the overhaul he did was the most pathetic, ridiculous patchwork nonsense which neglected midfield, neglected defence, and brought in utter rubbish up front.

Michael Beale decided to hell with wingers, let’s go narrow, and brought in a bunch of players for that purpose, before then playing THEM out of position as wingers?! Danilo on the left and Lammers on the right, anyone?

It was literally the most shambolic management from a boss who simply didn’t know what he was doing, aided and abetted by an absolute bunch of clowns as right-hand men.

Is this the worst management team Rangers have ever had?

It could well be up there.

What a joke.

And it’s set us potentially back years. Nice one Bealey.

  1. Given the opportunity Stirling would make a good RB , but Beale didn’t like him & Tav has something on our club . We now need a manager to come in & cull some of this crap , also we need to be looking at retention as some players approaching 6 months left or we could then be left in same boat next summer . No more Rookies Please !!!
