Ibrox Noise and one or two of our contributors have discussed this one extensively, and it’s time to really ask fans the question;
If Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq (or anyone else) makes a healthy bid for Rangers captain James Tavernier, would you be in favour of accepting it?
Tavernier is about the most divisive player at Ibrox; for all the good he does with goal contribution, he can’t defend for toffee and has fans very split over his merits for being captain.
We know, we know, a lot of Rangers fans will already be fuming at this article with the ‘get behind all the players ffs’ (until it’s a player they’re not a massive supporter of then the tune changes) type comments, but Ibrox Noise has had a lot of support in asking the question in the past.
Because there are many supporters out there who do question Tavernier, and his qualities. There are also many who think he’s the best thing since sliced bread.
But we want to be fair – Ibrox Noise’s opinions on our RB are pretty well documented, but that’s only us – we want to hear your take on Tavernier as we head into the new season.
If a bid comes in, a good one, would you want him sold, or is he a keep at any cost type for you?
Rangers fans, it’s over to you.

I love my Captain as you guys at IN know, tbh in the Poll I opted for sell if over £5m as £10m a bit optimistic but not quite in the Drive him myself category. Thing is it’s not up to us it’s Tavernier that has the final say, or so I’ve been told. 💙💙
