TILBURG, NETHERLANDS - SEPTEMBER 24: Ryan Kent of Rangers looks on during the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round match between Willem II and Glasgow Rangers at Koning Willem II Stadium on September 24, 2020 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Ryan Kent can probably tick Leeds United off the ‘interested’ list after the Elland Road side instead made advanced moves to sign Feyenoord’s left winger Luis Sinisterra, with the Colombian international close to a deal being done.

With a transfer fee of around the £20M mark, the 23-year old’s capture would surely absolutely end any lingering interest Jesse Marsch’s side might have had in Kent, with the main pursuit of Rangers’ star winger admittedly coming from the American coach’s predecessor Marcelo Bielsa, who once bid £8M on him.

So if Kent was to leave, and there’s no guarantee he is, it won’t now be to Leeds, whose move for Sinisterra will sew up the left wing for sure.

Interest in his signature is still said to be there from Germany, but we’re not sure Kent would want to leave Rangers for the continent, such is how he’s settled in Scotland now.

Indeed, it would have been a huge drag to leave for even the PL, but the PL is the PL and the Promised Land at that, so it’s the one draw most players will make the sacrifice for.

But going to Germany would be a heck of a schlep and we’re not sure how up for that he’d be.

Still, he isn’t going to Leeds anyway.
