Reports have ramped up that Rangers are to quickly replace Joe Aribo with Angers’ Angelo Fulgini, at a price of around £6M, albeit that is what the French side are hoping for.

The attacking midfielder, 25, has a year left on his deal, and media and social sources allege Rangers are in for the Ivory Coast man, and that he has been confirmed as absent from their training camp amid his impending exit.

Rangers’ transfer window took a LONG time to get going, but with three weeks left before the UCL qualifiers the club has 3 new names in, with Schalke’s Rabbi Matondo likely to be the fourth.

But if a deal can be struck with the Ligue 1 side for Fulgini then Rangers will have an immediate replacement for the Nigerian, not to mention the stricken Ianis Hagi.

That would leave Rangers with the Ivorian and young Alex Lowry as the two 10s for the side, and we’d be happy with that.

More as this develops.
