Sources suggest that things will finally start to happen ‘this week’ after Rangers players returned to preseason along with manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Sporting Director Ross Wilson.
Concerned supporters have been vocal in voicing their disappointment at the lack of work from Rangers to bring in new recruits, but the information we’re getting is things will finally start to happen this week amid a brand new preseason.
Now, what on earth these ‘things’ will be we’re not entirely sure, but obviously there’s interest speculated in a lot of players such as Norway’s Erik Botheim and Croatia’s Antonio Colak.
Whether this means deals will get over the line this week is anyone’s guess, but with Gio and Wilson back in the building, we’d certainly hope for some major action.
The reality is Celtic, Dundee Utd and Aberdeen have each done far more than Rangers already, which rather flies in the face of the ‘on holiday’ excuse some are giving – deals get done even if holidays are being had, lads.
But hopefully this week with things back in Auchenhowie we will finally see real movement.
We can only hope.
