Robby McCrorie has reportedly said he ‘isn’t sure’ where his future lies after he was recently asked if he was leaving Rangers.
The goalkeeper, 24, has come under major speculation recently after links to Aberdeen and PL giants Man Utd surfaced, following Allan McGregor’s new deal appeared to bump him heavily down the pecking order yet again.
But he could only say he didn’t know when asked if he was leaving after being spotted earlier on Friday.
The lad’s future has been clouded by developments in goal, and he’s said to be very frustrated by the lack of apparent pathway to the first team.
He felt he’d impressed v Celtic but hasn’t seen the light of day since, and even a change in manager hasn’t changed his fortunes – he seems as far away as ever from the first team.
And McGregor’s new deal seems to reduce those chances even further.
So it’s no wonder he doesn’t know what tomorrow holds, but we wouldn’t blame him for moving on.
It doesn’t look likely to happen for him at Rangers.
