Joe Aribo has refused to be drawn on his future, admitting it’s a distraction and he isn’t focused on it.
The Nigeria international, who broken the season record for number of appearances world wide last campaign with a remarkable 70, was speaking after the international break and dropped the admission that he’s just not interested in transfer talk.
He said:
This is about as vague a statement he could have given, but he has already clearly said he’s happy at Rangers, even if he doesn’t parrot that line every time he speaks to the press.
No, Aribo, 25, is the type to remain quietly in the background and let his football do the talking.
His press performances have got a bit better over the years he’s been at Rangers, but he clearly isn’t comfortable talking to the press – not every player is, and that’s just the way Joe is.
As for leaving?
As he’d say, it’s in the hands of (the football) God (s).
I really do not think this boy is worth making a fuss over ,too inconsistent for me ,and if he left tomorrow for a fee of 6 million would be happy enough ,ranngers after all lost title because of inconsistency .
