Scotland have announced two Rangers call ups for the world cup playoff squad.

Ryan Jack and incoming John Souttar are both part of the group to face Ukraine in just over a week, and Jacko especially was gutted to miss out on Euro 2020 through injury.

Souttar appears fully fit and ready for the action, and we obviously hope both players make it through the clash unscathed.

Rangers fans were widely impressed with Souttar on Saturday as the now former Hearts stopper showed a level of quality significantly above his team mates, and which looks well-suited to Rangers to say the least.

Interesting note – the BBC now officially lists Souttar as a Rangers player, including him as an Ibrox man in the squad list to face Ukraine.

Surprised they didn’t mention Hearts at all.

Either way, good luck to both players, and come back unbroken please!
