Rangers have been confirmed as the all-time third most successful in major European competition for getting to the final after having made the semi.

On five occasions Rangers have got to the semi finals, they made the final of four of them – in European history, only Sevilla (6/6) and Porto (5/6) have been stronger.

This is certainly a shock stat which proves just how historically outstanding Rangers have been in European competition throughout the decades, that only the superb Sevilla and Porto sides have actually surpassed us.

Does it mean anything tonight?

We hope so.

We can make this final on our own right, and there’s nothing stopping a passionate home crowd cheering the hosts to a win on the night and yet another European final.
