Big dilemmas for Gio as Rangers travel to Seville

The big question on everyone’s lips (well, actually there’s a few) is whether Kemar Roofe and Ryan Jack will make next Wednesday.

Rangers have bread and butter league business tonight, but given Celtic will 99.99% effectively win the title this evening (not mathematically unless they win and we don’t), it’s immaterial – it’s about getting our players ready for 7 days down the line, and the pair’s fitness is a big factor.

Obviously we know Ryan Jack took a bit of a knock v Leipzig and had to come off, so he’s a bit of a question, and after that icing strapping it didn’t look great, so we sure hope he’s fit come a week for now.

We’d be very surprised if he is involved tonight.

As for Roofe – it’s all about getting this boy ready – the Jamaican will be in intense training for the next 7 days with the club trying everything to get him fit to go, although Gio might surprise us with his selection tonight.

Other than them, and the usual long-term injuries to Morelos, Hagi and Helander, the squad is fit and ready for next week.

But boy we could use the extra options in Jack and Roofe.

Mercifully, Amad Diallo has JUST hit some form and confidence at the right time, although we’d be shocked to see him start in Seville.

But that also gives options on the right, which is a real trouble spot for Rangers and aside Danny Candeias, has been for a very, very long time.

Having Roofe and Diallo would aid enormously.

Jack wouldn’t hurt either.
