Rangers could be facing a further striker blow after the UK government confirmed unvaccinated individuals will be barred from entering Germany, with rumours persisting that the only striker available, Fashion Sakala, is not vaccinated and was unable to travel to Dortmund for the same reason.

The press is currently talking about Sakala as a starter in Germany, and we at Ibrox Noise included him too, but yes, he and Kemar Roofe were not on the flight to meet Borussia amid claims it was due to being unvaccinated.

We cannot corroborate that claim, only those close to him and the club known if Sakala is part of that group of people who choose not to be vaccinated, but if he is, Rangers will be without him as well on Thursday.

Which forces the very real possibility of Joe Aribo as a false 9 in the absence of pretty much any other option up front.

Now, we cannot verify these claims yet, it is all circumstantial, and we are looking into it, but for now the only thing we know for sure is Germany requires you to be vaccinated for entry, and Sakala was not included the last time we flew out there.
