We know there’s been a mix of output on Ibrox Noise recently, which shows you the diversity of both our writers and the flux of emotions we’re all feeling following Sunday.

One or two of us were filled with optimism, with a constructive piece from Kevin pre-match giving backing to Kemar Roofe, while Scott was also bigging up the UEL and suggesting we could win.

But others had more pessimism and didn’t believe we’d take much from Sunday, with Morelos’ absence a key factor.

And that’s the beauty of a site and Facebook community like Ibrox Noise. While we stop short of letting Celtic fans on (we’ve been banning a lot of the unwanted hordes from the east since Sunday), we want diverse views, taking fair and balanced angles on all the aspects of Rangers worth discussion the past few days.

Emotions will run high, but we admit this is some of the most constructive and rational we’ve seen the support be the past decade or so, following a really bad result.

The community we’ve built has been trying to piece together reasons for Sunday, and trying to look at the bigger picture of why a season this promising only a month ago has suddenly seemingly slipped through our hands.

We want a wide range of views, but we do stop short of sympathisers who seem eager to handwring to the Parkhead lot. Anyone in league with their way of thinking isn’t welcome on Ibrox Noise.

And we’ve mostly seen the former.

The season is not a bust, we still have 3 competitions up for grabs, and while two of them are now a spot more difficult than they were, nothing is impossible.

End of the day, we all want what’s best for the club, and the fans, a minority of mindless morons at Ibrox on Sunday aside, have been a class of their own.

So here’s to going forward, whatever come what may.
