Scotland’s press have once again made up lies about the Famous after Aaron Ramsey’s latest injury pretty much ended any hopes he ever had of making a new career in Scotland.

Roman sports paper Corriere Dello Sport have confirmed what Ibrox Noise told you some months ago that Rangers weren’t interested in signing Ramsey permanently and he will go back to Turin at the end of the season if not earlier, but despite this confirmation, the Scottish press and BBC in particular spun it that he’d rejected Rangers.

To quote the source exactly:

“There are negative signals from Scotland regarding Aaron Ramsey: the Welsh midfielder, on loan from Juventus to Rangers, got hurt again during the big cup match against Celtic and is unlikely to be signed permanently at the end of the season by the Glasgow club.”

So, Rangers’ decision, already made ages ago, confirmed by Italy.

But the Scottish press?

“Aaron Ramsey is not considering a permanent move to Rangers”

Oh yes he was, but another injury has taken it out of his hands, and word is he’ll return to the continent even earlier than the end of his loan.

It absolutely hasn’t worked out, which was a shame, but either way, it was Rangers’ call not Ramsey’s.

Nothing quite like a negative dig at the club where none exists.
