While it’s the s*n reporting it, they did get the Aussie Old Firm correct before everyone else, so we’d actually be willing to buy this one given it sounds utterly plausible, and they claim Rangers have already dumped Aaron Ramsey and will definitely NOT be signing him permanently come the summer.

The 32-year old’s arrival in Scotland was heralded as one of the biggest signings in Rangers’ history, up there with Gazza, but it’s been a literal and frank disaster with the ex-Arsenal man unable to remain fit and seemingly miles away from being able to play.

As such, Rangers have reportedly already told his parent club Juventus the club has zero interest in taking him on permanently, in a development that will shock absolutely no one.

Ramsey can just be grateful at this point that he isn’t Jack Wilshere, that he has had a good career until hitting around 30, where the wheels have sadly come off badly. His ex-team mate Wilshire never even got close to 30 before his own career derailed, so that is at least something – he’s ended up in Denmark desperately trying to salvage things before it’s too late.

Ramsey has got a good CV behind him, but his Rangers career, at this point, appears to be probably the biggest signing fail we’ve ever had, given the expectation from the capture when he arrived.

And Rangers are pretty much done with it already.
