Ryan Kent’s reported £20M clause may see him leave this summer amid long-standing Leeds interest in the winger.

Despite the exit of major admirer Marcelo Bielsa from Elland Road, the PL side remain interested in the 25-yo winger under new boss Jesse Marsch, and could be prepared to shell out his release clause in order to secure him this summer, despite his only having a year to go afterwards.

The former Liverpool man has been in excellent form this season, with 15 assists and 3 goals in 33 SPL/UEL/CL appearances, with assists at all three levels of competition.

This form has definitely regained Leeds’ interest, and with that release clause, unless Rangers do get Kent down on a longer deal, the cash in value would be a no-brainer.

There are sniffings from Villa as well, and other PL sides are said to be monitoring Kent, but it’s Leeds who have been the major courter from the early days, and of course who had a £10M bid rejected two years ago.

We’ll see if they’re ready to double that.
