Hammer blow for Rangers as FIVE players are ruled out through injury
GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - FEBRUARY 21: Ryan Jack of Rangers leaves the pitch after suffering an injury during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Dundee United at Ibrox Stadium on February 21, 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland. GVB has confirmed an absolute shocker for Rangers fans after announcing five players are not fit to face St Johnstone tomorrow.

Aaron Ramsey, Amad Diallo, Steven Davis, Ryan Jack and Filip Helander have all suffered setbacks and aren’t fit to feature v the Saints, in quite frankly an absurd blow, that is unlikely to lift the spirits of fans reeling from Sunday.

Ramsey is as far from fitness as he ever was, Diallo has suffered a knock in training and won’t be back till next week at the earliest (as if it makes any difference), and Helander and Jack will hopefully be returning at the weekend (albeit hope springs eternal).

Steven Davis’ prognosis is unclear.

It adds up to frankly a pretty rotten few days for Rangers fans, from the zenith of destroying Borussia to plunging straight into what is feeling now like a small crisis.

We wouldn’t even trust any of these players to be back this week frankly, because injuries and Rangers do not equal transparency.

Great.
