Colombia to stop Morelos facing Celtic – AGAIN

Once again Rangers’ imminent Old Firm clash with Celtic is being undermined regarding Alfredo Morelos after the Colombian’s participation was threatened over injury.

The claims from South America are ‘muscular overload’ (whatever that is) although we did see strapping on his thigh following Dundee, but either way, once more the 25-year old sees his selection for the national team, his not being used, and his unlikeliness to play in the Celtic match as a result.

It’s far from ideal, and it completely disrupts Rangers’ preparation for such a crunch fixture, with Alfie such a pivotal part of how we play.

In fairness, the injury reports come from some journo called Pipe Sierra whose account isn’t actually verified, but as per usual, Morelos travelled half the world and wasn’t used, just like his national manager threatened to do after the last time.

And just like last time, we may well lose him for the Celtic match.

Sometimes you’re just lost for words.
