Celtic ‘declare’ title theirs in latest arrogant rant

Following one Greek fool claiming the title to Parkhead, his boss Stavros has more or less done the same only a couple of weeks after reckoning his side are only getting better.

In yet more ammo for Rangers’ dressing room, their manager made claim to the title by saying they’ll only get better from here towards the end of the season, thereby pretty much dismissing Rangers and bringing out the champers.

Rangers are not in sparkling form, but the two sides are completely neck and neck for the last three matches, matching each other’s form exactly, and either of the managers to come out and make grandiose statements is arrogance.

Remember, it was only a few weeks ago we absolutely ripped Hearts apart, the third-place side, and neither Dortmund performance can be forgotten either.

So let’s not get ahead of ourselves, even if many of our fans appear to be waving the white flag as it is.

Seeing that lot from over there with their smug arrogance hinting that the title is done and dusted really should be the best fuel for our players to rise to the occasion.

Obviously it’ll be another two weeks before we face Dundee in the league, but we have a cup trio of Red Star as well as the Dee before then, and that will be our focus.

But the reality is your rivals rubbing your face in a good result for them is the way to find newspaper cuttings for the dressing room door.
