As much as we want to and have the right to soak in yesterday’s glory of beating Dortmund, all that now matters is Sunday.
The win over the Germans is already gone – it’s not forgotten, but it’s part and parcel of the season, a season in which league-wise we’ve been more than a spot patchy from day one, and Motherwell this weekend will present a stiff challenge.
Sure, Celtic crushed them a few weeks ago, but they remain a test, and the side currently first in the table have tough away fixtures to endure, particularly Livi.
Rangers simply have to win win win.
We cannot allow any slip ups now, not while it is so close, so neck and neck, and now that it’s evident Rangers are the best team in the land, and clearly not Celtic, we cannot slip up stupidly on any Ross County or Dundee Utd-shaped banana skins.
Especially given Celtic are likely to stumble, with their luck running out.
Europe has separated the men from the boys, and Sunday is the time to make the statement in the league.
Time go back on top of the table, and stay there.
