Rangers remain interested in Anderlecht’s Francis Amuzu, who Ibrox Noise brought you many months ago as a potential target.

The right winger, 22, a Belgian U21 international, has been monitored by Rangers for some time and scouts were watching his side’s weekend fixture with Eupens (Amuzu was on as a sub).

The attacker is being monitored along with quite a few others for Rangers’ continuing problem position of RW. After a bright start Amad Diallo’s stock has fallen a little and after struggling at Parkhead he was dropped to the bench for Hearts, and of course the Utd loan winger is exactly that, a loan, so isn’t a permanent solution.

Diallo is a stop-gap till the summer, till Rangers can find a permanent solution (or two) for that slot, and Amuzu is one of quite a few the club is looking at.

A lot of the summer’s plans are being compiled on the assumption of winning 56, and we can tell this title race will be tight, but for the winner the spoils of around £50M of lucrative Champions League cash which might not be a big deal for rich old Celtic, but would be a financial game-changer for Rangers for sure.

And Amuzu, contracted till 2024, is worth around £4M so won’t be on the cheap.

We’ll see who emerges as the RW answer this summer.
