Predicted XI for Rangers – no Morelos or Ramsey
He must impro

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has some decisions to make for tomorrow night’s showdown at Parkhead. In truth, both sides’ form has been evenly matches the past 5 matches, with just two extra goals conceded by Rangers costing one extra draw.

But Rangers’ work in the transfer window has been devastating and Ibrox Noise has a look at a likely XI GVB will go with come the trip to the east.

In goals it’ll be McGregor. He had a horror v County but he’s still our best, and he tends to show up for the big occasions. This one isn’t even a debate.

Defence kind of picks itself, unfortunately. Gio’s options are limited here, and unless Leon Balogun or Filip Helander is miraculously ready by tomorrow, it’s the same as always. So Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey and Barisic.

Midfield too is likely to continue as Kamara and Arfield, with the latter mercifully fit again and the ideal guy to line up v the green and whites. Jack isn’t fit enough yet.

Up front?

Kent will be on the left, Aribo central, and Diallo, if fit, will be on the right. If not fit, that will be either Kemar Roofe, Scott Wright or Fashion Sakala.

Up front? Will, if Diallo makes it it’s between Cedric Itten, Roofe and Sakala. Gio would be taking a huge gamble on the Swiss, and in truth, on Roofe too given he’s quite some way off fitness.

Which leaves the infectiously enthusiastic Sakala as the most likely.

So, your Ibrox Noise predicted XI is:

McGregor; Tavernier, Goldson, Bassey, Barisic; Kamara, Arfield; Diallo, Aribo, Kent; Sakala

Bench options will be very decent:

McLaughlin or McCrorie, Zukowski, Sands, Lundstram, Davis, Jack, Lowry, Roofe, Wright, Itten

Game on!
