No excuses – Rangers face desperate Hibs

It’s pretty safe to say, Rangers having destroyed the infinitely superior Hearts at the weekend, their city rivals Hibs wouldn’t be much of a threat regardless, but with losing their best player for filthy lucre to some Middle Eastern mob, the Hibees are even worse than normal and they have a rookie manager who doesn’t have a clue either.

We can say with a reasonable level of certainty that this is one of the weakest Hibs sides we’ve faced for a very long time, and while we know we’ve probably jinxed ourselves into the worst result in our history, all being pure and holy the Rangers side that decimated Hearts should have little problem dispatching Hibs.

The loss of Boyle has completely killed the Easter Road outfit – they were hardly stunning before they sold him, a mix of wins losses and draws, but now they can’t buy a win for love nor money and have only scored twice in two matches since he moved on.

At present, they’re going into relegation territory, and Rangers have no reason not to punish them further.

They sacked Jack Ross for less than this, so we travel tomorrow with a level of anticipation.

As for us, no new injury issues and no returning players, a strong squad as it was for Robbie Neilson’s side, and there’s really no excuses.

Game on.

  1. Dont take anything for granted they will be up for it,and lets hope its a decent referee ffs as that can make a big difference in these games

    Watp🇬🇧

  2. As long as it’s not Clancy refereeing tomorrow night.

I would expect a Gers win.

Must be fully focussed though get the job done and get goals aplenty for the goal difference ratio.

Would still like to see us buy Benjamin Siegrist from Dundee Utd. This guy is the real deal buy him and we win the league McGregors done his bit now and will rightly go down as a Gers legend and rightly so.

3 points though for Wednesday night it’s a must win game for us no slip ups.
    Cmon the Gers.
