Giovanni van Bronckhorst has moved to shut down fatuous rumours about Ryan Kent, Fashion Sakala and Kemar Roofe after misinformation circulated that the trio would not travel to Germany on grounds of not being double-jabbed.
Last night some errant stories began doing the rounds that the three of them would be remaining at home due to Germany rules on double jabbing, but the manager crushed this quick before it grew any legs:
“Ryan trained as normal the last couple of days so he is fit to come with us to Germany.”
While no mention of the other two, it certainly wasn’t necessary given the most key player there is Kent, and he will play tomorrow.
We don’t know who started these mischievous stories, albeit someone from the eastern fraternity does strike us as most likely, but thankfully GVB has dismissed the nonsense.
Don’t believe the rubbish.
