Media interest in Rangers’ Kent misses the mark completely

The press this morning are claiming Rangers have taken interest in Leeds’ Crysensio and Bologna’s Skov Olsen due to increasing attention upon Ryan Kent, but have failed to note both those targets are right wingers where of course Kent is a left.

The Rangers man has been only loosely linked with a move out, stories this morning putting the usual SG Aston Villa connection out there, and while it’s true Villa have a bit of a poverty on the left wing due to injuries, their start under SG would suggest they’re working their way around that.

But the reality is Rangers seek a RW or two with absolutely no significance of that on the future of Kent.

In fairness, one of our own fans explained Everton aren’t interested in Patterson because they’ve just signed a LB from Ukraine, so we suppose if even our fans get confused at times, there’s a bit of slack on the media too.

But we need, finally, to have a proper top-quality solution at RW that we can rely on – Kent left, Aribo middle, and Skov Olsen on the right. Would be fantastic.

So if the media could perhaps remember the correct positions, that would be helpful indeed, thank you.
