The stories surrounding Dundee United’s Jeando Fuchs are not going away, amidst Rangers’ growing interest in the Tannadice star.

The two-time Cameroon international, 24, would be another ‘Glen Kamara’ in that the defensive midfielder is out of contract next summer and Rangers would be looking to nab him in January for a lowball cost, as they did with the Finnish star.

The former Sochaux man got praised by manager Thomas Courts just like Kamara did from his then-manager Neil McCann with praise which echoes what Rangers’ former winger said about Dundee’s star performer:

“Jeando has earned the respect of the fans because of his work-rate and quality. He also has an impact on the pitch in every game. The fans have taken him to their hearts. He enjoys it here but he’s an ambitious guy as well and wants to get to the very top. If he continues as he is it won’t be long before there are a host of people coming to watch him.”

And Rangers are now said to be in discussion over bringing the rising star of Scottish football to Ibrox.

His defensive stats for this season are impressive, and he is number one in the whole league for interceptions which speaks for itself, although his passing consistency needs work. He’s 91st there with just 71% average.

But clearly he’s appealing to Rangers and other admirers and we’ll find out if he’s a new arrival in January in due course.
