Ianis Hagi’s old man has confirmed there’s no plan for his son to leave Rangers in January, and that he’s happy at Ibrox.
However, all players have prices, and our info on £12M being enough for Rangers to accept a bid remains in place.
There are claims from Italy and Turkey that Rangers have put a €20M price tag on Hagi’s head. Not true.
They also claim this priced Galatasaray out of a bid – also not true (although £12M probably still would given the Turkish giants’ financial situation).
Hagi for his own part is quite happy at Ibrox, and he’s especially enjoying life under a technically astute and tactically wise manager in GVB.
In fairness he appreciated what Gerrard gave him as well, but Hagi Snr has confirmed his lad is not moving of his own accord.
Money talks in football, so if a suitor does bid an acceptable amount, Rangers will be open to the sale, as they are for any player if ‘the price is right’, but the Romanian contingent don’t actively seek to leave.

Correct. You can already see the media positioning themselves to flog Kyogo (to Liverpool or Man City no less) for a colossal sum while they constantly talk about our top players in the £8-10m bracket.
