Rangers will have Joe Aribo for January 2nd after manager Gio van Bronckhorst confirmed the Nigeria trio WILL be available for the Old Firm before jetting off to AFCON, if it actually goes ahead.
There had been much debate over the Super Eagles’ three and whether Rangers could call upon Aribo, Leon Balogun and Calvin Bassey’s services when we travel to Parkhead, with previous manager Gernot Rohr conceding a level of defeat over it.
But the new boss hadn’t made a decision one way or the other, and it seems now Rangers have secured the three men for the eastern showdown.
The one we really needed was Aribo, let’s face it – and the former Charlton man will now face Celtic in a piece of news we’re sure will delight the supporters.
Game on!
