The farce in France has descended into even further embarrassing chaos as Lyon’s decision over Rangers fans changed for the THIRD time.

We’re not even getting into the absurd rollercoaster of this absolute shambles, but having been told yes, no, yes no, then yes again for good measure it now seems the French giants have settled on ‘affirmative’.

The absolute upheaval this has caused Rangers fans is horrendous, with many forced into refunds after recent announcements only to be told it’s back on.

There is absolutely no question Rangers must hold Lyon and the French authorities 100% to account and demand compensation for this, because communication from the French club and government has been simply appalling.

Our fans have lost money and could lose even more, and we’re not just talking a €50 ticket here, we’re talking flight, accommodation, potential loss of earnings, you name it.

Rangers have already expressed their disquiet over the handling of this mess, and all we can say is this cannot ever happen again.

Lyon, over to you.
