Three-man boost for Gers should give 55 impact

We have to say welcome back Scotty Arfield, Ryan Kent and Ryan Jack, and hopefully welcome back soon to Filip Helander as well.

The impact those first three especially will and have had cannot be overstated.

Arfield’s leadership, drive, midfield link play, late runs into the box and his all-round energy.

Kent’s dynamic trickery, his pace, his superb movement and his dangerous dribbling on the left.

Jack’s defensive covering, reading, and powerful engine room.

These have all been absolutely cataclysmic misses to Rangers, and as they start to trickle back, it’s utterly superb news.

Helander will take a little longer, maybe January, and we’re realistically probably looking at the tail end of this month for Ryan Jack, but it’s still imminent.

And having Arfield and Kent back brings so much of Rangers’ band back together already, players who will make a real impact on the side.

We can’t underestimate the difference they can and will make – more guile, craft, pace, movement, energy.

How lethargic have Rangers been this season?

Those three are arguably three of our most energetic players, and all of them have basically missed the whole season up till now.

Having Arfield, Kent and Jack back will make a massive, massive difference.

Thank goodness.
