Information has reached us that Rangers are due to make an announcement tomorrow morning, and naturally the only conclusion we can draw is that it’s to confirm Giovanni Van Bronckhorst as manager.

While some rumours have started circulating claiming the GVB deal fell through on a financial basis, we have received no information pertaining to this and as far as we understand, Van Bronckhorst remains on course to becoming the new Rangers manager.

The deal to put the Dutchman in place has been swift, with contact made around Thursday and the ex-Ibrox star in London for talks at the weekend.

Those continued today, and if the information is correct and there is an announcement tomorrow, it could be the news Rangers fans have been craving.
