Rangers management update – announcement imminent

Rangers’ managerial ‘saga’ is in its final stages after talks between GVB and Ross Wilson concluded successfully, and now it’s a case of Rangers’ board making the decision.

GVB is 100% dead set on becoming the manager, and is awaiting the club’s call to confirm the job, with just discussion remaining among the board to decide that the Dutchman is the right man for the gig.

A delegation from Holland arrived yesterday without Van Bronckhorst to iron out all the legal and financial details and it appears all t’s have been scored and i’s dotted from the ‘admin’ point of view.

All that is left is Rangers deciding on GVB as the man for the position – the ex-Ibrox star is awaiting that imminently, and Rangers refused to be rushed into making the call quickly.

It had been expected the announcement would be late last week or early this, but following the shock departure of the former manager, Rangers’ officials want to get this appointment absolutely correct, and we can’t blame them for that.

So, we await the decision with anticipation, and hopefully it will arrive inside 24 hours.

  1. I don’t if it’s the pressure of really having to win the title or just apprehension but I wonder if GVB is the right man at this time. He will take some time to settle , a lot of time.
Mc Inness in the interim would hit the floor running till we win 56 …I think now that would be the smart move . If we don’t win this title we are fucked honestly financially and mentally both on and off the park . I fear the worst . I hope I’m proved wrong but …
