Rangers have dropped a massive selection hint using Scott Arfield for today’s press conference.

The former Canada international was a revelation on Sunday and provided Rangers with an injection of energy and attitude, not to mention leadership, even if some ‘Rangers’ sites tried to slaughter his performance and claim Stevie will drop him for Brondby.

And by using him for his first presser in many many months the management team has dropped a huge hint that Scotty will be in the starting line up come tomorrow night.

There might be a few ‘who does he drop’ questions – well, who cares, is the answer – Rangers play far better with Arfield in the side, and just like last season, the ex-Falkirk man has had to wait till Autumn before getting his place back.

But he’s earned it – promising cameos, better training, and now Arfield seems right back in among the mix of the first team, where he belongs.

The aggression he shows is a major tool for Rangers in his position, given so few of his team mates share that style, and it will be a big boost to travel to Denmark with him in the side and back in form.

Bring it on Scotty.
