Rangers could be rerady to unleash the best attack in Scotland after the return of Ryan Kent added further pace to the power of Morelos and the equally nimble feet of Fashion Sakala in a lethal trident combining the best of the strength and hold up of the Colombian alongside the speedy feet of the two wingers.

We spoke at length in recent seasons about the dream trident of Jordan Jones, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos, a combination many fans wanted to see, but it never materialised due to the manager’s dislike of the-now Wigan winger, but we could see it after all in the form of Sakala instead.

We doubt there’s any defence in Scotland that can handle the combination of these three in form – with Kent especially looking electric after his Brondby cameo and Sakala keen to continue his Motherwell form, just needs Morelos to click into gear and it will produce a fantastic array of all types of forward thrust.

Kent’s dangerous dribbling and trickery, Sakala’s constant runs in behind getting to the pockets, and Morelos’ power, holding up, opening channels and making space – it’s definitely got a lot of potential and it could be in action today.

That all said it’ll probably be a completely different kettle of fish and a totally different front three after all, but you never know.
