The nonsense over GVB’s potential appointment has already begun with press lies over the state of his possible assistant.
The s*n alleges GVB would want to appoint Jan Wouters as his assistant, while the Times claims that won’t be the case because he fired him when he was manager of Feyenoord.
So not only are two reports saying kind of the opposite thing, but more comically – both the s*n and Times are from News UK owned by the same group under media mogul Rupert Murdoch, and yet both are getting completely different stories.
So either these two papers aren’t singing from the same hymnsheet or they’re talking ********.
We’ll say the latter.
Rangers are keeping this story very tight, we don’t have too many further updates for you beyond the stuff ‘on the wire’.
But we still reckon we’ll get an announcement imminently – it’s just a matter of time.
Just don’t trust News UK too much…
Ypu have to remember, it’s all guess work from the red tops ever since they were effectively banned from lbrox unless they stumped up the 25K so I’m watching stuff on twitter from actually Rangers themselves for updates, anything else is just noise
