Alfredo Morelos has been dropped to face County today as Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent start alongside Fashion Sakala to make up a very pacy front line designed to cause havoc in the opposition defence.

Hagi’s excellent cameo on Thursday has earned him the nod, alongside Kent’s, and Sakala’s fine afternoon in Motherwell last week sees him as main striker, with the Colombian only among the subs, in a move likely to be approved by many fans.

In further shock news, Steven Gerrard has rung massive midfield changes, with John Lundstram and Juninho Bacuna starting ahead of Davis and Kamara,, with the NI international dropped entirely.

Defence also sees Borna Barisic dumped out of the squad totally and Bassey taking up his place at LB.

So the full team sees droppings of Morelos, Davis, Kamara, Barisic, four men who just aren’t delivering this season, while Bacuna, Lundstram, Hagi, Sakala and Kent come in.

We’re a bit surprised Arfield is only benched, but it’s a lot of sweeping changes.

Let’s see how it fares.

  1. CONCENTRATION has been our Achilles heal for this season when will we learn we have to focus for 90 minutes.

Time and time again stupid sloppy mistakes give away giving teams a goal start surely the management team sit and watch the reruns of every game played to know and understand concentration and self discipline is paramount at the levels they are playing at.

I have watched numerous games already this season and from what I have seen our back four are a million miles away from last seasons performances they are poor.

Yet game after game we have just stuttered to get over the finishing line, I would say bring the young guns in and give them game time look at Patterson one of the best young prospects we have up and coming yet he’s not getting game time Why?

To many players are now living on there laurels thinking they can just walk into the team that is totally wrong they need to earn the right to play for the Jersey you are only as good as your last game.

Let’s hope and pray the team win this 56 title for Sir Walter, we most certainly can do with the money champions league windfall of £45 million would really steady the team.

C’mon let’s do it for Walter here we go for 2 in a row.
