Rangers stars have enjoyed a sensational international break with stunning goals from Leon Balogun (his first for Nigeria), Fashion Sakala and Ianis Hagi demonstrating the quality Rangers players have now, while Niko Katic nabbed one as well for Hadjuk Split in a friendly.
Balogun scored a striker’s instinct goal for his nation, his first since being becoming an international, so this was extremely special to him at the age of 34.

Meanwhile Fashion Sakala’s finish was a worldie, a beautiful turn and individual skill before clinical finish put Zambia one up over Equatorial Guinea. You can see that one here:

Then there’s Ianis Hagi’s absolute beauty v Germany, with a mazy run, nutmeg then delightful chipped finish.
And of course Niko Katic got himself his first goal in well over a year in that friendly back home for Split. Which can be seen here:
On top of Nathan Patterson’s excellent second half for Scotland and a few other stand out showings, Rangers players have had a great international break and are standing out on the biggest stage of all to showcase their quality.
It’s all about the Rangers.
