With Hearts’ slip-up on Saturday to Dundee, Rangers will have the biggest chance to secure a 3-point cushion at the top of the table.

Last week’s poor draw to Robbie Neilson’s side (despite fancy football in the first half) saw a massive get out of jail card used (again) and top spot remained ours. The side bounced back nicely v Brondby with the best performance of the season by a distance.

But we’ve used a couple of those get out of jail cards, and we now have such a huge chance to open up our biggest lead of the season, thanks to a bad choke by Hearts, who just seem to have lost their momentum now, along with tumbling Hibs, to be replaced by rising Dundee United.

But securing the 3 points at Paisley will feel like 6 – because despite our poor domestic form this season, we’d still be a mammoth 4 points ahead of Celtic and 3 ahead of the pack above them.

The biggest match of the season?

Well we always say that.

But it always is, isn’t it. This is what it is to be the Rangers, to be the Famous – every match is absolutely must-win and we have had a bit of luck this season when we’ve slipped up.

But winning this one could be the biggest statement yet this domestic season.

3 point lead awaits.

Let’s take what’s ours.
