There’s no under underestimating Sunday’s clash with St Mirren. Jim Goodwin has got his Buddies side well-organised, well-drilled, and they’ll be champing at the bit to take a huge scalp in the form of the Famous.

Thankfully it appears Leon Balogun will be fit to start this one, and that helps greatly, because we’re far from reassured by Jack Simpson or Calvin Bassey in the middle, and would like to see the latter back in his conventional LB slot.

If you have any doubts about St Mirren’s form, the last time they lost they’d had Alan Power sent off at Parkhead and proceeded to lose that infamous 6 goal rout. Since then? 6 goals conceded in 6 matches, and 3 wins of 3.

They’re in form, and they’ll be hard to beat.

This is one Rangers must respect. They’re on a superb 3-match winning streak, albeit all sides they put away are bottom 6.

But they’re in form.

Stevie has expressed great respect for what Goodwin is doing at the St Mirren Stadium, and he revealed giving the boss time in Paisley has reaped rewards and we’re seeing a Buddies side verging on being a top 6 team.

But Rangers want to damage that – we want to inflict their first loss since August, and bounce back from a poor result v Hearts.

This, to us at Ibrox Noise, was much bigger than Brondby. SPL success is critical, and the road to 56 begins at Paisley.

Bring it on.

  1. Let’s see the gloves off now as the Rangers juggernaut rolls on.

Need to take the 3 points no excuses this will go some way to defining 56 we welcome the challenge bring it on.

2 x concerns the back four need 100 percent concentration no silly or daft mistakes at the back.

The referee determines the game it’s his decision that’s final and looking at previous games Mc Clean does not favour our club at all I wonder why?

But that said we should be more than good enough on the day to do that lot St Mirren if we fail to get the points then there is something seriously wrong.
