Michael Stewart, after weeks of silence on Leigh Griffiths, Celtic’s child abuse court case and a dozen other issues of importance in Scottish football, has finally piped up… to attack Rangers for celebrating the origin of the club.
Calling it bigoted and racist.
The Celtic-loving Rangers hater (he’s no longer able to keep the thinly-attached mask on) had nothing to say on the numerous disgraces happening over at his beloved Celtic’s house, but when Rangers release a video celebrating the founding of our club, the Scottish outcry, led by Stewart as always, begins.
This man has continually attacked Rangers for ‘everything and anything, anywhere’ and isn’t even pretending any more to just be an impartial pundit.
His silence on serious issues with other clubs recently, namely Celtic, before resurfacing with more bigotry allegations about Rangers, really sums up his priority.
Former RTV man Andrew Dickson nicely summarised it:
“Rangers fans have been singing Four Lads Had A Dream for several years now, this is the first I’ve seen a problem with it. The tune was first used in a popular Beach Boys song and supporters of other clubs have adopted it too. Does that make them ‘bigots’ as well? Thought not.”
There is an undeniable and sustained media attack on our club these days, and guys like Dickson, ourselves, and many others have to keep calling it out.

“Why can’t they just sing about football?”

I didn’t even know it was the same tune as I bet most rangers fans don’t it’s four lads had a dream to me and i imagen 99 % of rangers fans those other songs are disappearing more and more with every generation and rangers fc have played a huge roll in tht … if u want to apply this logic to music there won’t be very many songs that u couldn’t claim as racist or bigoted…. iv got to say I find Michael Stewart offensive why dose he do it why rangers why no other club or supporters mby every time he’s on the tv we should all complaine as he represents bigotry in its most common and excepted from anti rangers family…. watp…
The ginger wihinger will get his comeuppance one day and I’m hoping it is sooner rather than later, l would love to see the man lose everything the same as that arsehole Sutton, he needs booted from tv for good, even ra sellik tv sacked the tosser after a few games, I’m stunned he hasn’t been slating him for taking a shiny coin away from his pocket
