Spanish giants Sevilla have returned for Rangers’ in-form attacker Ianis Hagi after it emerged the LaLiga side have continued to monitor his progress and may make a bid before the transfer window shuts.

Hagi, one of Rangers’ brightest sparks this season, is not thought to seek a move away, but of course money talks, and if the bid is up to Rangers’ valuation of the ex-Genk man (thought to be in the region of €15M) the club might just accept a submission and leave it to the playmaker to decide.

Hagi’s name of course is synonymous throughout the world as a result of his father’s legend, and Rangers’ star is doing a very fine job of honouring the name this season as well as being a bright performer the second half of last campaign, so he’s not one Rangers are looking to sell.

But Sevilla are not the only name linked with interest in the Romanian, with Italian giants Lazio and Spanish goliaths Real Madrid among two of the others credited with monitoring him.

But with Rangers’ options a little thin at present, he’s one it would be prudent to retain. Rangers will have potentially just 2 senior bench options this evening.

More as we get it.
