PL fansite slaughters Kent amidst £20M bid story

A Leeds fansite has publicly attacked Ryan Kent amidst claims the Elland Road giant are set to make a £20M move for Rangers’ star winger.

The attacker, 24, has had a quiet start to the season among the changes in his personal life which have made things harder for him, and his focus definitely isn’t with the club right now the way it should be.

He is/was happy at the club but those changes have influenced this and ideally he would probably now be content with a move south, and there are strong reports Leeds will be his destination.

But the fansite slaughtered him as ‘inconsistent’ and dismissed his 55 season completely, alleging the lad hasn’t proven himself in Scottish football (because, as we all know, Leeds and other PL teams watch Scottish football constantly…) and using this season where he’s unsettled as a stick to hit him with.

Of course, the choice would be manager Marcelo Bielsa’s to make, not some fansite that appears to be ignorant.

Kent is a stunning player when he’s in the zone, and that was never more the case last season – said site also completely overlooked his superb performances in the UEL which is just about PL level in places.

Why are we taking what a PL fansite thinks of our players personally? Not sure, it feels like an attack on our family and a slight on the facts.

And we’re never up for that.
