Ibrox Noise was amused to note a brilliant stat which surfaced yesterday and which we’re still laughing at 24 hours later.

Celtic have now lost more league games this season than Rangers did the whole of last season.

Yes, put that in context – this is the first time in … decades, that Celtic have lost their opening match, and in doing so, have already lost more matches in 21/22 than Rangers did in the whole of the last campaign.

It just highlights the chasm that has ripped open between the two largest Glasgow sides, and while Celtic fans enjoyed a decade of ripping the urine straight outta Govan, the shoe could not be more firmly on the other foot.

And just how bad Celtic are now. And how good Rangers have become.

We’ve not even mentioned their impending attempts to storm Parkhead in protest…

Enjoy it Bears, seriously. We’re seeing so many tubes in our support with a stick up their backside saying absolute piffle like ‘it’s only one game’.

No it’s not, it’s been over a season now.

Your cranky pessimism and grumpy ‘groundedness’ is boring and defeats the point.

Enjoy the ride. We are.
