£30M signing signals ‘end’ of Rangers’ Kent to Leeds

Ryan Kent’s rumoured move to Leeds United appears to be dead after the Elland Road side neared a £30M move for Man Utd’s Daniel James.

The Wales international, who managed just 15 outings for his club side last season, is seen as expendable at Old Trafford and his move to Leeds would end any notion of Bielsa moving for Rangers’ man, who appears now set to stay at Ibrox unless a last-minute bid arrives from anywhere.

Kent, 24, has looked a bit distracted this season so far, amidst such speculation over his future, with Leeds especially strongly linked with a £10M+ move for him, but now they have turned their attention to Utd’s Welsh international and seem close to a £30M transfer for the former Swansea man.

We don’t know where Kent goes from here – we know his personal situation has been made a bit more difficult in the past few months and we hope he can get his head in the zone at Ibrox if he is to stay, but if he does still get a last-minute move, there’s zero chance it’ll be to Leeds.

James has seen to that.
