First and foremost get well soon Nnamdi Ofoborh whose recent ECG examination flagged up some kind of heart issue meaning the 21-year old’s Rangers career goes on indefinite hold while the medical team try to get to the bottom of it.

Naturally we’re not doctors at Ibrox Noise and wouldn’t pretend to dictate biological and medical matters, but we are concerned that Ofoborh passed the medical on his original transfer only for this to have surfaced now.

Was it missed? Is it a brand new condition? We cannot know, and we won’t guess, but it’s disappointing for everyone that Rangers and our fans won’t get to see the lad for a while, and of course for the boy himself that his new adventure is put on hold while he has to go for tests and potential surgery ala Connor Goldson.

We do wish him the best, and as quick a resolution as possible, but as Stevie said the lad’s health is priority and after the summer’s nightmare for Christian Eriksen heart issues and complaints are being taken even more seriously than they already were and Ofoborh is in good hands for getting this treated.

We can only wish him a speedy recovery and our hope that we get to see him in action for us at some point this year.
