As we all know Walter Smith was taken ill some months ago, and his family have rightly asked we all respect their privacy.
Graeme Souness’ cryptic hint on Sky Sports did point to the troubles his old mate had, and we are sure we speak on behalf of all Rangers fans and indeed decent minded football fans and people at Ibrox Noise by wishing Walter a speedy recovery.
Sadly we’ve had no positive update as to progress and of course it’s technically none of our business and the Smith family should be left in peace to support the man, but naturally our fingers remain crossed at a positive outcome for him and them all.
He is a legend, he advised Stevie with some great counsel and he will always be exalted for his wisdom, wit and status.
Few have given as much to Rangers as Walter Smith.
We do hope things are improving for him, we hope his family will have some good news to share with us soon, but Walter is not forgotten by us and we pray for a happy ending.
Best wishes Walter and the Rangers Family are always with you.
