Rangers ‘scout’ U21 Dutch midfielder

Rangers have scouted and will monitor this summer Rotterdam Sparta’s Abdou Harroui as the 23-year old Dutch U21 international travels for his nation’s Euros bid.

The central midfielder, who is equally adept anywhere in the middle of the park including defensive, appears to be yet another ‘planning ahead’ instance in the event of Glen Kamara failing to sign a new deal and potentially being sold this summer.

It is also a high quality player from the Dutch Eredivisie who would be an asset to the side regardless.

Rangers have absolutely upped the ante in the past few weeks with the calibre of player being sought, and the £3M Rotterdam star, who scored 6 in 32 with 3 assists last season, is seen as of the level required for the CL next campaign.

Looking at his CV it’s not hard to see why, and he is entirely of the quality Rangers seek.

He will hope to impress this summer, as Rangers won’t be the only side monitoring how he does for his country.

We’ll see if this is a deal Rangers end up making.
