Glen Kamara did his stock the world of good with a simply stunning Euro 2020, in which the Finland international not only topped the entire tournament group stage for interceptions, with approximately 10 successfully delivered, but he was one of an elite band of players to feature in every minute of the competition.

Of course, the Rangers man’s Euros are over after his country failed to make it through even as a best-placed third team, but if Glen Kamara’s reputation was sky high before these Euros, a tournament-topping 3.3 interceptions on average per game only hiked it further.

His performances this summer have only heightened interest in him, and it’s evident if any team is going to persuade Rangers to part with him, the transfer fee will have to be a Scottish record breaking £25M+, eclipsing the £25M Arsenal shelled out for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.

Kamara was the centre of a tonne of scrutiny following the Kudela scandal, but the quiet man of Ibrox more than buckled down, thriving on the pressure and delivering a world class Euros.

The lad is a world class player for sure and even his passing level was outstanding, with his being in the top 100 of all players in the competition at 88%.

Anyone who wants him?

Dig very deep indeed.
