Wanted man Glen Kamara’s value just doubled after yet another stunning performance at this year’s Euros with Finland.

Said to be interesting Watford, Leeds and Arsenal, the midfielder’s display against Denmark gained some attention on top of what was already there, but a world class first half showing v Russia has likely doubled his value and Rangers can sit pretty knowing they are going to make a fortune on him, should he leave.

The 25-year old’s latest suitors Watford have money to burn as PL new boys, with their all-new budget, but Kamara’s mooted value, previously rated in the £15M range, has comfortably gone well beyond £25M following 135 minutes of outstanding football at a level even higher than he’d gone before.

He’d done it in the SPL and in the Europa League, but to continually deliver on this colossal stage of the European championships shows Glen Kamara is unquestionably a world class player and Rangers are now unlikely to let him go for much below £30M.

Rangers will either retain the services of one of Britain’s best midfielders next season, or get a hell of a lot of cash this summer for him.

The club wins either way.

  1. we better not sell any of our star players for less than 20 mil even tht is a bargain price for some of them.. kent and kamara are priceless to our team in my opinion both oozing quality and wen they are on form they are unplayable .. if they are to be sold it’s got to be for a Scottish record fee
