Humza Yousaf did not wait long to stick the boot in to Rangers’ title celebrations by demanding Rangers players are sacked if guilty of some naughty language.
The Justice Secretary, a raging Celtic fan, has been spouting his anti-Rangers sentiment for some time now, in full bitterness of his side losing their fake title run, but after a video circulated allegedly showing some players indulging in a bit of emotional naughty language, the SNP honcho stuck his oar in demanding they be fired.
We don’t condone bigotry, racism or xenophobia, but in an emotional celebration a bunch of blokes indulging in a few ‘poor choice words’ among themselves really is not the worst thing in the world.
Sure, it’s better if discriminatory language is removed from society, but our issue is more when fans install banners to Palestine in their home stadium or glorify Irish terrorism.
The reality is these players were absolutely buoyant and high on 55, and forgot themselves.
A fine from the club for sheer stupidity is enough, albeit more stupidity for being filmed saying it.
We should attest – we are not condoning their conduct, but let those who have never uttered a bad word in the fit of euphoric or despairing emotion judge them otherwise.
SACK NICKOLA THE FISH
If it is true and Rangers have denied it what idiot who was obviously in the vicinity of the players decided it would be a good idea to release this video. Rangers have claimed it was doctored and they should also investigate who the mole is and deal with this individual.
